Medium Participation Intensity

As a Transfer Fellow, you have the opportunity to take part in all programme events – in person and online – and to observe, accompany and advise the Transfer Workshops run by the Transfer Brokers (the most intensive participation level). At this level, you do not bring your own school partnership into the programme.

What you contribute: Attendance at six online sessions between spring 2027 and summer 2029 (including passing the knowledge quiz that follows each session). Attendance at the five in-person events at the DIPF in Frankfurt between February 2027 and June 2029 is optional for you. However, parts of the in-person events will be streamed online for Transfer Fellows, and attending these is required to receive the certificate of participation. You will also be assigned to a Networked Improvement Community (NIC) of Transfer Workshops with similar themes, in which you commit to taking an active advisory role – online and in writing. According to current estimates, the time commitment is around 100 hours (the final number of hours will be stated in your certificate of participation).

Costs: Participation is free of charge. At this level, we are unable to provide a travel allowance for attending the in-person events. If you would like to attend in person, travel costs must be covered by you or your research institution.

What you will achieve: If you contribute on an ongoing basis, you may be individually invited by the Transfer Workshops and the coordination team to contribute to a joint publication. You will have access to all programme materials and resources via the members' area of the website. You will also receive the Transfer Fellow certificate of participation and become part of a nationwide network (community of practice) that is intended to continue beyond the programme.

Around 30 places are available at this participation level.
