Scaling and Making Visible
Research-Practice Partnerships also represent a logic of innovation that is new to the German education system: innovation that emerges locally and spreads into the wider system. New ideas and approaches are developed locally through collaboration between schools and researchers on the ground, where their effectiveness is also analysed. If they prove successful and help improve education locally, they can serve as models for other schools in similar contexts or even act as drivers of innovation across the whole system. This bottom-up scaling requires mechanisms that make local innovations and results measurable and visible. TransferForce aims to strengthen the impact of Research-Practice Partnerships and to help make the Transfer Workshops and their products visible and scalable through the following formats:
- Showcasing the Transfer Workshops on the website
- Publishing the transfer products and results from the Transfer Workshops in formats tailored to different audiences, particularly education policymakers and administrators, and school practitioners
- An interdisciplinary Mentoring Board made up of representatives from education administration, research and school practice
